DIY: Fringe Shoes

Lately, fringe can be found on anything and everything – purses, t-shirts, dresses, necklaces - just to name a few. This simple yet intricate looking trend can add a playful touch to even the most mundane items. I personally love the accents of fringe found on vintage shoes, so I decided to dress up a pair of plain black kitten heels with a little fringe. This one is super easy and super quick!

- Shoes of your choice
- (P)leather/suede of the same color
- (P)leather/suede cord of the same color
- Hot glue gun
- Sharp scissors

1) Cut out a small rectangle. Mine was 2 inches wide, and 1.25 inches in length.

2) Carefully cut slits along one side of the rectangle.

3) Hot glue onto the front of the shoe.

4) Snip off a piece of cord, and tie into a bow.

5) Hot glue the bow on top of the fringed rectangle. Repeat for the other shoe.

6) Done!
