Paper crafts for making cards: How To Make A Scalloped Paper Flower

Start with scalloped circles. I am using 3 different sizes. You can use more or less.

If you do not have a punch or machine to do these, I am going to show you a way…
start with a circle

now using a pencil or another small round object place it on the inside of your circle and trace, then move over and trace again.

repeat all the way around your circle and then cut out.

Now that everyone has scalloped circles we are going to cut into each scallop. Not all the way to the center, but far enough so that whatever you put on top will cover the space not cut.

Do this for each scallop on all of your circles.

Then I like to ink mine so each petal has distinction. I do this by lifting each cut and running my ink along the edge of the cuts.

Now layer each circle on top of the next.

add whatever flower center you like.

I like a little more dimension to my flowers so I crumple each circle

then I layer mine with pop dots for a little more dimensional distressed look.

Here is my completed layout, using 3 of these flowers.
