Don’t forget to enter to win a happy camper!!
The Pancakes with Butter and Syrup from last week really needed some Bacon and Eggs to go with them!

Food gifts: Bacon & Sunny Side Up Eggs, felt patterns and tutorial

Sewing patterns

Sunny Side Up Eggs
Trace and cut out as many eggs as you want from white felt.  Each egg needs 2 pieces cut out.  Next, trace and cut out the stuffing.  Each egg only needs 1 (I used a felted wool sweater but fleece would work too).
Now, trace and cut out 1 yolk for each egg from goldenrod felt.
Sew on 1 yolk for each egg with matching goldenrod thread.
Stack up 1 egg piece with a yolk, stuffing and 1 egg piece without a yolk.
Sew around the edge of the egg with white thread.  Trim the eggs edges to even things out.
Bacon
Trace and cut out the desired number of bacon strips from brown felt.
Cut out 2 thin strips of tan felt (about 1/4 in wide and 5 in long) for each strip of bacon.
Run 2 thin lines of tacky glue along the bacon strip and attach the tan strips.  If the tan strips are too long, just cut off the extra.
Finished bacon…yum…I mean…CUTE!
