Crafty jewelry: Felt Rose Earrings tutorial,

jewelry making

I’ve seen a lot of felt rose tutorials floating around lately, and I thought I would give it a try! Felt roses are super easy, lots of fun to make, and the possibilities are endless! You can really use the completed felt rose for anything, but I wanted to make mine into earrings!
What you’ll need:
  • Felt
  • Scissors
  • Glue Gun
  • Post Pad Earrings
Start by drawing or tracing a circle onto your felt. The diameter of this circle is 2.5 inches.  Cut the circle out of the felt.
Now, cut a spiral into the felt. The width of the spiral you cut will essentially be how “tall” your flower is. So keep that in mind when cutting the spiral. The width of my spiral is approximately a centimeter.
Starting in the center of the spiral begin to twist around the center, shaping the rose. As you twist secure every so often with hot glue.
Continue until you reach the end of the spiral.
Cut a small circle out of felt that is the same size as the bottom of the rose.
Secure the small circle to the bottom of the rose with hot glue.
Add a pearl of glue onto the post pad earring and attach to the bottom of the rose.
Let the glue dry, and enjoy!
