Valentine Project: Playing Card Coupon Booklets We love celebrating Valentine’s Day, but it’s not a big present-fest around here. Instead, we like to have a nice family dinner and a fewlittle gifts. Something that my kids love is making and receivingValentine coupons. This year I’m giving my little family Valentine Coupon books made out of a deck of playing cards. I bought the playing cards at the grocery store. They were a double pack of cards for $1.99. Then I made the coupons. If you would like to use them. You

There’s been quite the call for a tutorial on how to make these little pushpop hats seen in the “ bright future” graduation party! I’m happy to be able to show you how they were made. It wasn’t an extremely scientific process to creating these little hats, so as with all tutorials, I am sure you will find a more precise way to accomplish the look as you go along. I love the bright colors she chose! While the rolls were drying, we got to work on the scenery. I did the drawings, and she colored an inexpensive file folder (pack of 10 – $1) to make the scenery for the owls. We even did a day time scene and

Paper Halloween Banner I am still on a banner kick! But this time I created a Halloween banner out of scrapbook paper and cupcake liners. I really love the simple traditional black and orange together, you can't go wrong. I trimmed my cupcake liners to a small, medium, large layout and distressed them on the edges, just a little, with black ink. I also distressed the edges of the white circle that I cut from cardstock. I cut 1" strips from coordinating scrapbook paper

Measure how much fabric it will take to wrap around your frame, leaving a little bit to glue down to the back. Mine was 9" x 10.5". Now add 1.5-2" to each measurement to allow for the 'puff' and cut out a fabric piece that size (so I cut out 11" x 12.5") Center
