5 Minute Lego Cupcake Toppers My baby turned 7 on Monday. That afternoon, I had 2 startling realizations: 1. I really should work on losing the baby weight. 2. Even though his b-day party isn't for a few more weeks, I still needed some sort of cake Realization #1, I'm ignoring. I made up some quick cupcakes to solve #2. They weren't very festive. I thought it would be fun to make some Lego head toppers. I cut-out 2 inch squares and rounded the corners.

file folder gift boxes These gift boxes are made from items found around our house. While rummaging though our office supplies, I came across a big box of red file folders. The color was not my first choice, but in the spirit of giving simple gifts, I thought it best to use what we have instead of buying new. I discovered that 3.5"x3.5"x2" boxes are a great size for the bird seed ornaments. Materials: file folders (cardstock, cardboard, etc. will work too) ruler scissors glue gun ribbon tags First, make a

Inspired by Moroccan lanterns, I used perforated metal sheets often used on radiator covers to create little lanterns and vases. You can also thread wire or ribbon on them to mark table numbers. They look as cute in daylight as they look when lit! Paper

You may have seen woven paper hearts, or paper hands with a woven insert, but have you ever seen woven apples? Me neither, until this idea popped into my head and these cute apples materialized on our dining room table a few nights ago. (You see, I told you a new pack of paper would be great inspiration given my self imposed art supply starvation!) A whole bushel would look great strung garland style together with some other simple shapes, or

Really like this simple but versatile package for gift. In this case, it is suitable for gift man (boy) on February 23. If you take the cardboard (or heavy paper), a different color ribbon to tie to another suitable occasion for a picture or a small object (a heart, flower, tykvochku, snowflake, etc.), we can pack the gifts for Valentine's Day, March 8, Halloween , the New Year. And if the holes on top to make a greater distance from each other and
