Birthday invites:  Customize Your Envelopes

Paper crafts

When I send a card or a letter to someone I love to do it in a fun envelope! They are super simple to make, and I bet you already have all or most of the supplies on hand.

You’ll need:

  • Cardstock or scrapbooking paper
  • Envelope
  • Glue

Start by deconstructing a basic envelope by pulling all the flaps apart.

Trace the edges of the envelope on the back side of the cardstock or scrapbooking paper.

Fold the flaps of the envelope in, and place in the center of the area you traced. Trace around the envelope creating a rectangle.

Cut out, then fold on the lines.

Unfold the top flap of the original envelope and trace on the back of another piece of paper. Cut it out, and glue to the inside of the base part of the envelope.

Glue the flaps together.

That’s all it takes to dress up your mail!
